Privacy Policy
Effective July 13, 2026
Relay is designed to keep your work on your own devices.
Information on your devices
The iOS app stores the daemon address, pairing credential, app preferences, and local quota state on your device. The Mac daemon stores repository paths, session messages and output, run logs, worktrees, model-provider configuration and credentials, cost records, and test or evaluation results on your Mac.
No Relay cloud database for your work
Your repositories, prompts, provider credentials, and agent output are not stored on Relay-operated servers. Relay does not operate a cloud database for your code or messages.
Subscriptions via Apple
Relay Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple. Apple processes payment information and manages subscription status according to Apple's policies. Relay receives StoreKit entitlement information needed to unlock paid features.
Model and agent providers
Relay uses the model or coding-agent provider you configure on your Mac. Before the first live request, Relay identifies the data sharing and asks for your permission. When you continue, your Mac may send prompts, relevant source code, tool output, and other context to that provider so it can perform the request. Provider API keys remain on your Mac-side Relay daemon. The provider may retain or use submitted data under its own privacy policy and terms; review those terms before granting permission.
Diagnostics and analytics
Relay does not collect analytics or tracking data. If you contact support, you may choose to share screenshots, logs, or other diagnostic details.
Retention and deletion
Relay keeps local data until you remove it. Unpairing removes pairing data from the iOS app. You can remove the Mac-side database, logs, and worktrees by stopping Relay and deleting its local data directory. Relay cannot delete data retained by a model or coding-agent provider; use that provider's account and support controls to request deletion. Support material you choose to provide remains in the support issue or email until you delete it or ask for its deletion.
Your choices
You can revoke provider permission in Relay Settings to stop future requests, remove a custom provider, unpair the app, or delete Relay's local data. Revoking permission does not delete data already sent to a provider. Manage or cancel Relay Pro through your Apple Account subscription settings.
